Welcome to a new year. I hope the year ahead is full of safe and exciting travels.
I honestly don't believe in resolutions, but I do believe in goals. And I plan on continuing on the goals that I created for myself throughout 2008. I have slightly altered some of them due to events that I have experienced, but the projected end result is the same = to be happy. That's not to say that I'm not in a happy state currently, but I am no where in my life where I would like to be. But who is, right?
So what are my goals you may ask? Well, I have developed a list (in no particular order):
1. Find a job that I love (or at least work on getting a job that I love - i.e. screenwriting, using my creativity for something other than daydreaming)
2. Finish what I start (ahem, the blog for one example)
3. Finish the house (painting, organizing, remodel bathroom)
4. Buy a car (I don't regret selling Betina, but looking back now all I can think is "what the hell was I thinking?")
6. Make some friends (how high school!)
5. Get out more often (either by myself, with friends, with Woods)
7. Read a book once a month (or every other month at the very least)
8. Use my creativity (paint, create, performance, clothing, photo, video, writing)
9. Bring Toxic Waist (& her brother Gregg Ruled) out more often
10. DJ (well, learn how to DJ)
11. Gain 5 to 10 more pounds of muscle (I work out religiously already so now I need to step it up a bit)
12. Sex (more of it please)
I've put some deep thought regarding these goals that I set for myself to make sure they were attainable. Upon review of the list, I know that I can (and will) accomplish them. I used to make the most out of my life every day, but for some time I lost track of that. I feel that I am returning back to that direction. Oh the joys of a new day. And a new year.
