Technology is a pain in the ass. Plain and simple.
My internet woes struck a cord with me last week as the DSL was down for a while. A snag was hit days before with the cable. I couldn't watch television! Heaven forbid. Not that I watch a lot of television but I do like DVRing shows to watch at my convenience.
During the downtime all I could think about was a clip from French & Saunders where Jennifer's computer froze up and Dawn kept offering advice on how to fix it. Utterly hilarious. See for yourselves...
Anyhow, now the internet has now allowed me to return to my online cruising abilities. The cable has seemed to resolve itself to working status. I guess AT&T finally got a technician to work on these issues. One word to describe my feeling about this: hallelujah!
