So I haven't blogged too much this month due to two reasons: busy with the renovation of the main bedroom and a houseguest. Three can be a crowd at times when your house is in shambles.
The renovation has taken some time due to snags here and there, sleep schedules, and other various obstacles. I do hope that the room will be finish very shortly. This room will be considered Woods' space with all of his belongings and such resting happily in a light green haze with crushed red drapery. Lovely.
I have gotten all Joan Crawford with the painting duties. Jesus. I am a control freak, but at least I admit my downfalls. On the upside, the job is looking rather top notch if I do say so myself. I like the way the fixtures are looking against the wall color and window coverings. It will be a very classically modern looking room. In direction comparison to my space which is more Ikea showroom with a hint of adolescence - lava lamp anyone?
Regardless I think both individual spaces represent our unique style. Woods is definitely more mature while I am more, ahem, immature. No surprise there. Hopefully by the end of the week, I can call the front bedroom finished. Crossing my fingers.
